The Role
The Financial Analyst role is a key part of the ArvatoConnect delivery team who provide high-value business services to our Central Government clients. As a qualified finance professional, you will have the opportunity to shape an exciting and dynamic service. That service will see us undertake financial viability and risk assessment of companies tendering to undertake government work.
ArvatoConnect will review those companies, in line with agreed business processes and assessment criteria, to provide an evaluation to the client that confirms the solvency, stability, and viability of the companies. Our Financial Analysts are responsible for the more dynamic and challenging assessments as well as leading and developing the rest of the team.
This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment and we will ask you to play a key role in developing our service, team, and client relationship.
Responsibilities:
The Financial Analysts will be responsible for reviewing all evaluations that are completed by our service ahead of submission to the client. This role requirement is to be onsite at the Swansea office a couple of days a month.
The team of Financial Analysts will ensure that agreed business processes and procedures have been fully applied and that the evaluation outcome is correct and supported by evidence.
The Financial Analysts develop full expertise in the financial viability and risk assessment business processes and procedures and will support and advise the team undertaking the assessors.
The business process is to include the need for ArvatoConnect to make risk-based judgments and the Financial Analysts will lead based on their knowledge and expertise as finance professionals.
Other responsibilities will include.
- Constructive engagement with our senior clients to build long-lasting and effective relationships.
- Achieve service levels and key performance indicators for this service.
- Be committed to continuous improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Undertake continuous professional development, with the support of Arvato, to maintain and extend knowledge and capability.
- Supporting, coaching, and leading your team to achieve quality and timescale targets.
- Manage a small team of up to three junior assessors, overseeing their work and ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards
Skills & Experience Required
- To be successful in this role you will be a qualified Accountant of CCAB recognised accountancy body or CIMA.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail, whilst still being able to see the ‘bigger picture’.
- Ability to liaise with non-financial staff in a concise and clear manner.
- Strong communication skills.
- Team player with a ‘hands on’ and ‘can do’ approach.
