Role:

We’re on the hunt for a VP Learning and Development to lead the business operations of our Training and Academy teams. Education is at the core of everything we do and vital to our mission.

Our Training and Go To Market teams are made up of asset recovery industry rockstars, with vast subject matter expertise. You will be the business facing leader of learning and development and will compliment their customer facing roles to drive continuous quality and enhancement of the programme.

You’ll be expected to:

  • Work with the Training and Academy teams as well as our Senior Management Team, cross functionally to gather information on our business and the industry;
  • Formulate a strategic business plan on how to deploy our incredibly talented team at scale both in person training and through our academy online which aligns our training programmes with the company’s objectives.
  • Identify customer and industry training needs and oversee the content of creation by the training and academy teams to service those needs.
  • Oversee the educational programme and deployment of staff where necessary to support the onboarding of customers to our products.
  • Track incoming ad hoc training RFP and RFQs, overseeing responses and ensuring correct staff and utilisation of hours charged.
  • Oversee training operations to ensure resilience in processes.
  • Drive training revenue through charging for training products and cost effective delivery.
  • Implement tracking and reporting on team capacity, utilisation and commercials across our training and academy. Drive accountability.
  • Lead the training team and develop the team in line with business demand.

Reporting to the head of the CRO, VP Learning and Development plays a key role in driving client engagement, product onboarding experience and ultimately meeting our revenue targets.

Requirements:

  • You will have established and led training teams within SaaS businesses before. As a leader in a mission driven business it is paramount that you possess excellent communication and collaboration skills and that you foster a culture of inclusion.
  • You should have at least 5 years experience in team management in a relevant industry field (law enforcement, financial investigation etc). It is a mandatory requirement that you have experience managing educators who deliver training in person and online/remotely to the public sector. You must have previously tackled the challenges with localisation and building a scalable, commercial training programme in an international market.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in both product onboarding training and industry SME training. Start up experience is a huge bonus as the pace of change and growth is likely to be significant.
  • This role will involve significant project management duties and relevant qualification(s) will be highly valued.
