Purpose

We are seeking a talented and experienced UX Design Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design strategy and execution of our SaaS Products, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience for our enterprise clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, marketing, sales and customer success to create user-centric designs that meet business objectives and user needs.

Key Responsibilities Areas (KRAs)

• Leadership & Strategy
• Lead and mentor a team of UX/UI designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture
• Define and drive the overall UX vision and strategy
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices across the organization
• Design & Development
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of designs.
• Design intuitive and engaging AI-driven customer-facing UIs that enhance user interaction and satisfaction.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
• Present and justify design decisions to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Continuous Improvement
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve the user experience.
• Identify opportunities for design improvements and optimizations based on user feedback and analytics.

Skills (Experience & Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• At least 5+ years working experience, with a focus on B2B SaaS products.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring design teams.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a track record of successful UX design projects.
• A working knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like InVision or Axure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience in designing AI-driven customer-facing UIs.

Work Location:

While your team will be predominantly distributed in Ireland, if you live near our Cork office you can use the office any time you wish. Also, you may be expected to travel there 2-3 times per year for team and company gatherings.
