We are currently recruiting for an Underwriting Insights Manager to join our established and experienced Commercial Lines team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.

Role Requirements

Your Role:

As our Underwriting Insights Manager you will manage a team of 3 analysts and will be accountable for producing exposure information for reinsurance purposes across Commercial and Speciality Lines. You will alsoensure product governance MI is produced and is as appropriate and producing underwriting insight fordecision making.

You will be also be responsible for designing and producing solutions for stakeholders in appropriate formats to support and inform business activities and strategies. As well as this you will also be responsible for managing relationships across stakeholder teams to achieve the best outcomes for Commercial business.

The Individual

About You:

To be successful in this role you will need extensive knowledge of insurance processes, data and management information, especially underwriting, portfolio management and exposure management. You will also need theability to work with multi-layered and incomplete datasets.

You will also need the ability to build good stakeholder networks and be able to present to all business levels. As well as this you will need to be able to tell an unbiased story behind the data and present information to various stakeholders to drive decision-making.

You will also need good SQL, Excel and PowerPoint skills, as well as good experience of reviewing insurance data. In addition to this you will also be able to build and lead a high performing team, as well as working as part of the wider team, sharing knowledge and experience.
