LastPass is looking for Staff Backend Engineer (.NET):

In this role, you will use the Universal Admin Console (UAC), which serves as the administration interface supporting our business users. Within the UAC, you will be responsible for managing users, authorization, and authentication settings, as well as various policies that govern how LastPass operates.

Who will you work with?

In this role, you’ll closely collaborate with agile teams on UAC development. You’ll work alongside other engineers, support team, product managers and designers.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

• Contribute to planning, design, and delivery of features in collaboration with a dynamic team.
• Advocate for non-functional requirements and cost-effective solutions. Develop, test, and maintain solutions within your domain.
• Collaborate with other teams, engage in decision-making, and influence technical direction.
• Coach and mentor engineers at various levels.
• Contribute to a successful, customer-facing application, shaping it with new features to meet user needs.
• Work within a cross-functional, agile team, taking ownership of features for millions of daily users.

What does it take to work at LastPass?

• Proficient in C# and .NET Core for web app development.
• Skilled in REST API creation and consumption.
• Experienced with relational databases and EF Core.
• Familiar with OOP best practices, Docker, and web security.
• Strong communication skills.
• Collaborative team player excelling in problem-solving.
• Efficient contributor to complex tasks.
• Transfers knowledge effectively.

It’s great, but not required:

• Basic familiarity with Angular/React
• Any exposure to PHP
