We’re seeking a Senior iOS Engineer at Weavr, ready to assist our clients in seamlessly embedding financial products into their apps. As an integral part of our Engineering team, your mission is clear: deliver robust solutions, influence technical decisions, and champion agile and engineering best practices. Your efforts will directly impact Weaver’s success by ensuring customer delight and accelerating product integration.

With our suite of SDKs covering PIN management, Google and Apple Pay in-app provisioning, and strong customer authentication, you’ll play a crucial role in building SDKs and demo applications using the latest technologies.

• SDK and App Development: Building advanced SDKs and demo apps for iOS
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with diverse teams to deliver new features.

• Technical Issue Troubleshooting: Identifying and fixing complex issues swiftly.

About You

We’re looking for a Senior iOS Engineer and expect 5+ years experience crafting iOS

Applications. Specifically we’re looking to hire someone with extensive experience in Swift, and will consider candidates with Swift UI. You’ll also need experience with Flutter, design patterns, UI/Unit testing and/or CI/CD.

Any experience in the following will be highly beneficial

• iOS SDKs and leveraging the latest libraries to improve productivity.
• Consuming REST APIs to connect mobile applications to backend services and Firebase cloud messaging for push notifications
• Building libraries used by other developers.
• Advanced knowledge of security standards, encryption methods, and related best practices.
• Strong foundations and experience in the development of unit, integration and e2e testing.
• Understanding of Apple push provisioning, Apple wallet extension and Passkit framework will be highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of software and app design and architecture patterns, and modelling methods such as UML.
• Sound knowledge of mobile applications – SOLID principles and design patterns especially MVVM & MVVM-C
• Excellent English language written and verbal, giving the ability to communicate complex technical concepts, ideas and solutions to a broad range of audiences.

What will I be doing?

Most of the work you’ll be doing to maintain and update iOS SDK and also iOS applications. There will also be some impressive projects which you’ll be able to get involved in from the start. You work mostly with Swift and in future there will be a chance for SwiftUI.

You’ll be working in a cross functional team alongside exceptional engineers, QA and product people, giving you a lot more opportunity to influence product direction.

Hiring Manager and Lead Engineer – 60-90 Minute video call to delve deeper in to your technical expertise and team fit

Technical task – 30~45 mins live coding session with lead mobile engineer.
