We’re a startup simplifying product inspections for modern brands.
Booking product inspections overseas is a painfully manual and intransparent process. We take inspections and quality control services to the digital age – manage all things quality from a modern online dashboard.
?️ ABOUT THE ROLE
◐ Entry-Level | ? minimum of 30h/week*
Join Milio and help us become the leading quality control partner in Europe. We are a small, tight-knit team (less than 10 people) looking for someone excited about joining our team as a sales intern.
You will work closely with our Founder, engage with potential customers, assist in product demo calls, help close customers, and work out winning sales strategies.
Whether you want to hone your sales skills (arguably the most important skill in life) or are looking to kickstart your sales career, this is your chance to take the next step!
*Note: A large portion of your compensation is performance-based (view below). Therefore, it’s mostly up to you how much time you want to invest. However, assume that the minimum number of hours needed is 30.
?? YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Your singular focus is closing new customers. You engage with potential customers who have signaled their interest in Milio’s service and arrange a demo call with them. Then, you help conduct the customer call, guide them to make their first inspection booking, and turn them into recurring customers.
Prospect Engagement
- Initiate contact with prospects who’ve signaled interest in our service or booked a demo call with us
- Create and customize our digital sales room to share product details with the prospect
- Maintain active communication through messaging and LinkedIn
Dynamic Product Demonstrations
- Thoroughly prepare for each demo, setting the stage for a successful call
- Build a genuine connection with each prospect, understanding their needs
- Uncover their challenges and demonstrate how Milio can solve them, maximizing value
- Work towards a seamless agreement to get them onboard
- Note that we will provide extensive training to help you get started
Post-Demo Follow-Up & Onboarding
- Address any questions or requirements prospects have post-call
- Cultivate relationships with leads to encourage their journey with us
- Assist new customers in getting started on our platform, ensuring a smooth transition
Sales Pipeline Management
- Keep our CRM and sales tools updated with the latest interactions and outcomes
- Engage leads before and after calls to maximize conversion opportunities
Constantly Learn & Improve
- Take and learn from feedback to keep improving your conversion rate.
- Educate yourself through online resources on how to become the best possible salesperson.

- New Customers Closed. How many new companies are you onboarding to Milio?
- Revenue From New Customers. How many inspections do new customers book with us in the first 3 months?

- Apollo as our main data vendor for enrichment and contact data
- JustCall as our phone system
- Hubspot as our CRM
- Airtable as our custom-built engagement tool
- Notion for managing resources and customer interviews
- Slack is our main communication tool internally
? WHO YOU ARE
- Sales Enthusiast: You love the challenges that come with selling, are tough enough to deal with No’s, and have a healthy competitive drive to win. You don’t mind calling prospects if deals stall.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: You have a proactive attitude, take initiative, and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Your writing (emails, Slack, …) is always clear, structured, and thoughtful — even if things get stressful.
- Organizational Skills: Staying organized is crucial to make sure you stay on top of conflicting product priorities.
☕ LOGISTICS
This role is remote. However, you’re always welcome to join us at our office in London.
