Job Summary

This position presents qualified candidates with the opportunity to directly affect JADAK revenues by managing customers, providing unique technical solutions and communicating their needs to the internal product development teams. A strong mix of technical, communication and business skills is needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process.
  • Working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for JADAK products.
  • Ability to identify all technical issues of assigned customer accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
  • Ability to work as the bridge between our customers, our sales executives, and our internal engineering team.

Requirements

  • Travel 30 – 50%. Travel area is mostly within continental Europe although occasional travel opportunities to the UK, Mideast or other areas will arise.
  • 2 years up of experience in an Application Engineer or similar customer face role.
  • Creative solutions mindset
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong persuasion skills including strategic selling knowledge
  • Valid driving license with a clean driving record in Europe
  • Familiarity with Engineering and Operations preferred:
    • Familiarity with BOM structures
    • Project estimation
    • ECO Procedures
    • Some embedded software experience is a plus

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or relevant work experience

Outcome / KPIs

  • New Product Introduction (NPI) Sales
  • Project conversion rates
  • Number of technical demonstrations
