Job Title: Graphic Designer – Damascus or Remote (Online)

Job Purpose:

To provide graphic design services that support the organization’s activities and projects, ensuring the production of high-quality visual materials that reflect the organization’s identity and humanitarian mission, including media campaigns, social media content, reports, and printed materials.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design visual materials for campaigns and projects (posters, brochures, banners, presentations, etc.).
  • Prepare customized designs for social media platforms in line with the organization’s visual identity guidelines.
  • Develop and implement creative ideas to support media and marketing messages.
  • Edit and enhance images and videos in terms of lighting, colors, and adding necessary visual elements.
  • Coordinate with media, advocacy, and campaign teams to ensure designs align with goals and expected deliverables.
  • Adhere to the organization’s branding guidelines and update them when needed.
  • Archive and maintain source design files in an organized manner.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in graphic design, preferably within humanitarian organizations or media institutions.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, with good knowledge of Canva or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of the basics of designing content for social media platforms.
  • Ability to create and present innovative ideas in line with the nature of humanitarian work.
  • Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work within a team and handle work pressure.
