Product Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager with a strong background in the fintech industry, particularly with extensive knowledge of cryptocurrencies. As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and evolution of our crypto-related products, ensuring they meet the needs of our users while aligning with our strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities:

As the Product Manager for Orbital, you will have a broader scope of responsibilities that encompass the entire product management process, from discovery and strategy to planning and delivery. Your role will be essential in managing an end-to-end product feedback loop that continuously grows Orbital’s product offering.

Discovery:

• Identify valuable product development opportunities through various discovery activities.
• Become the expert in customer needs and behavior related to the pod’s product focus by interacting directly with customers and gathering feedback from internal stakeholders.
• Enhance your understanding of Orbital customer needs with data analysis and work with the CPO to define suitable qualitative and quantitative measures.

Strategy:

• Collaborate with the CPO and executive team to define a product strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and enables transparent product prioritization.
• Conduct market analysis and competitive research to map market needs and track technology changes.
• Utilize sales data, such as win/loss reasons and churn, to inform product strategy decisions.

Planning:

• Set objectives that enable better decisions and improve outcomes, translating the product strategy into long-term initiatives.
• Develop and contribute to a roadmap that provides clarity to the organization about current and future product development plans.

Delivery:

• Support the product development team’s software development work to ensure successful delivery that closes the product feedback loop.
• Collaborate with UX designers and tech leads to develop successful solutions, ensuring the team has clarity about the problems they are solving and why.
• Facilitate feature rollout, providing input on feature descriptions and benefits.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in product management, with a strong focus on B2B SaaS products and collaboration with designers and developers.
• Knowledge of the fintech industry and experience in product management within the crypto and e-commerce domains.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrencies, decentralized finance (DeFi), and blockchain technology is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with cross functional teams.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, early-stage environment.
