Mission:
In this role, you will drive forward our people operations processes with the goal of improving the employee experience and employee engagement to help enable Smartcat’s mission of realizing a world where there is equal access to innovation and ideas. Create smooth and seamless HR operations and procedures to make sure employees are backed up with HR support and may focus on business results and personal growth.
Outcomes:
- Create relevant and responsive people processes across the employee lifecycle, such as:
- Onboarding. Making it seamless for newcomers to increase ramp speed and cultural engagement: HR data, payroll, IT provisioning, benefits, and logistics
- Payroll & benefits
- Leave management
- Relocation
- Establish performance, compensation, and career growth cycles:
- HRIS cycle deployment
- Compensation change and promotions processes
- Career grading system
- Evolve our people process compliance to enable Smartcat to be a global organization with employees in 30 countries.
- Create standardized metrics and reporting to ensure data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement of our people system.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in a People Operations role within a multinational remote IT business.
- Experience integrating and maintaining HRIS with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality to ensure compliance with global regulations.
- Proficiency in working with remote teams across different time zones.
- Fluency in both written and spoken Russian and English.
- A data-driven approach with the ability to substantiate decisions using concrete metrics.
- Demonstrated integrity and unwavering commitment.
- A growth mindset, and willingness to adapt and learn continuously.
- Preparedness to work in a dynamic startup environment that demands intense focus, a strong sense of ownership, and perseverance to overcome challenges.
- Willingness to embrace constructive feedback and respect the opinions and ideas of colleagues.
