The primary role of the Insight team is to
- Bring executive presence and opportunity cycle management to customer interactions for C-level credibility and influence
- Build customer and industry data to distil relevant insight for analysis
- Develop recommendations and quantify financial impact for accelerating decisions
- Curate and articulate an executive story around a compelling case for accelerated change
- Enable sellers to credibly articulate business value for bigger deals
- Provide expertise across the entire customer lifecycle for value marketing, consultative selling and value realization for the business
Responsibilities
- Lead the Insight Apps team through our most strategic engagements, leading the team transformation from a “service delivery” working model to a “strategic customer ownership and influence” model
- Work in conjunction with Enterprise Architects, Domain specialist, Industry experts, Solutions Engineers and experience designers to own & develop the set of assigned strategic clients, achieve required results and conversion targets for opportunities in which the team has ownership of and help improve the experience to retain a focused set of strategic clients
- Lead acceleration of customer decision through value based transformational roadmaps
- Influence key customer decision makers and stakeholders
- Understand the technical and change management efforts required to enable customer success, identify the associated risks and help with their mitigation
- Work with a broad range of Oracle roles and partners to support complex opportunities with the appropriate skills, deliverables and outcome-based mindset
- Attract, develop and retain top-talent in the organization offering a fulfilling professional experience to our employees
Deliverables
- The role is business KPI driven; high level of flexibility will be requested in determining the adequate set of deliverables necessary to achieve the KPIs (e.g. strategic client revenue growth through pipeline increase, improved conversion rate, higher average deal size/share of wallet, etc)
- Deliver the team transformation towards a culture of customer ownership, driving customer influence and growing deal size.
- Enterprise Industry Blueprints inclusive of Business and Functional capabilities models as well as Current & Future state Architectures
- Client specific adoption roadmaps developed in collaboration with customers and delivery teams
- Industry KPI benchmarking and standard approaches/frameworks to enable business value creation through technology, AI/ML and innovation available in Oracle’s vast portfolio and/or already delivered in our large existing customer base & references
- Hands on and personal leadership in a selected number of clients engagement
Expertise & Skills
- Expert level business acumen and understanding of customer business and technology based value creation lifecycles
- Expert at leading people outside of your direct chain of command towards a shared vision/goal, whilst coaching your team members to achieve the same in order to transform the culture and current ways of working
- Expert level in understanding the role of business applications as enabler of business transformation
- Expert level in customer centric experience design
- Expert level knowledge of value chains in various industries.
- Background management consulting expertise with demonstrated C-level engagement leading (directly and by influence) large transformational engagements
- Versed in change management and strategy implementation & execution
- Ideal candidate is a servant leader, inspirational, change agent, highly collaborative and trustworthy
- Skilled in the areas of executive influencing, facilitation, consensus building, change management, problem solving and storytelling
Leadership
- Experienced leader, capable of managing a diverse team whilst transforming their culture and ways of working
- Proven track record of executing sales successes & influencing complex deals with customers and extended internal teams
- Ability to lead, influence, collaborate and communicate with stakeholders across Oracle’s lines of business
- High levels of energy, passion, creativity and enthusiasm
- Excellent communication, influencing and storytelling skills
- Strength in managing remote and culturally diverse organizations (inc people outside of direct reporting line)

Responsibilities
Manages and directs a staff of solution specialists and/or managers in providing specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales territory. Establishes and communicates departmental objectives and implements plans to ensure attainment of business objectives. Works closely with sales management to ensure proper utilization of resources and provides justification for additional resource requests. Oversees the Interaction with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Develops forecasts. Participates in industry/product functions, seminars and round tables to remain up to date on industry or product knowledge. May deliver presentations/solutions to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions.
