HR Transformation – Target Operating Model Lead

We are seeking an experienced and innovative HR Transformation Target Operating Model Lead to work with our professional services client. The successful candidate will have extensive expertise in organisational design, HR service delivery models, and Workday implementation. This role is critical in enhancing our client’s HR operations, focusing on service readiness, employee and manager self-service approaches, and comprehensive training and communications strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Organizational Design:

• Lead the development and implementation of a new HR Target Operating Model (TOM) that aligns with the client’s strategic vision.
• Redesign HR organizational structures to enhance efficiency and support business objectives.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure the HR operating model integrates seamlessly with other business functions.

HR Service Delivery Model

• Design and implement a scalable HR service delivery model that supports both centralized and decentralized countries and functions.
• Develop and optimise shared services, centers of excellence, and business partnering frameworks to enhance service delivery.

Service Readiness And Self-Service

• Drive the adoption of employee and manager self-service tools, enhancing the overall user experience.
• Ensure readiness of HR services by developing comprehensive readiness plans, including system testing, user acceptance testing, and stakeholder alignment.
• Implement strategies to maximize the utilization of Workday’s self-service capabilities.

Change Management

• Lead change management efforts to drive adoption of the new HR operating model and Workday functionalities.
• Engage with key stakeholders to manage resistance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Training And Development

• Support the development of training programs to ensure HR staff, employees, and managers are proficient in new systems and processes aligned to the target operating model design.
