The Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for a HR Manager to join our Consulting Business Unit. Reporting to the People Business Partner, you will support our accounts right across the business. This is a permanent position that offers remote/home based working although some business travel will be required.
The standard hours of work are 40 hours per week based on Monday – Friday.
The Role
As a HR Manager you will be responsible for:
- Coaching frontline people managers to be able to confidently navigate their way through the various Employee Relations procedures
- Overseeing the ER case load with our outsourced Employee Relations provider to ensure frontline people managers are compliant with advice and policy.
- Ensuring that our frontline managers are proactively managing their teams and promptly addressing ER issues e.g. grievances, disciplinaries, absence, etc.
- Supporting the People Partner with the development and delivery of People Plans that meet the strategic and operational needs of the MoJ account.
- Supporting the People Partner and operational business with HR interventions.
- Supporting contracts along with mobilisations, demobilisations and restructures.
- Facilitating the provision of meaningful HR data to the operational business.
- Working in collaboration with the People Shared Services team and HR Specialist teams to ensure the provision of a value-add HR offering.
We want to hear from you if you have:
- Experience in a similar environment with front line operations
- Demonstrable experience within employee relations and managing a high volume of cases
- Proven experience with coaching and guiding people managers through HR processes
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft packages
- Ideally you will have a CIPD Level 5 qualification.
