Your new role: Doctor Care Anywhere is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Change & Transformation (HCT) to lead and drive strategic initiatives that will shape the future of healthcare for our customers. The HCT will be responsible for overseeing and managing organisational change, process improvements and transformation programmes that may be driven by a new proposition, a technology enabler or new client demand.
The HCT will play a key role in ensuring that projects (change initiatives), meet objectives on time and deliver the required business outcomes that come from the 3 year strategy. The HCT will play a part in the delivery of DCA’s strategy, implementation of a commercially sustainable business model and efficient operations. The HCT will work closely with key stakeholders across the business to inspire confidence and to clearly articulate the change needed to meet the objectives of the strategy.
The HCT will undertake as requested other activities that may be outside of their area of focus but which contribute to the overall success of the Company, as directed.
Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 pa
Requirements
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive change management strategy that aligns with DCA’s strategic vision.
- Lead DCA in embracing change whilst supporting each function to maintain operational excellence.
- Identify and prioritise transformation opportunities that drive operational efficiency, enhance patient experiences, and reduce costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute transformation projects effectively.
- Where applicable, take on the role of Programme Manager for any high profile change that requires the expertise and weight offered by this role.
- Lead and mentor a team to foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and adaptability within the team.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organisation, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment and support for change initiatives. Build strong working relationships and establish effective communication channels.
- Develop and execute communication plans to keep all colleagues informed about changes and their impact on the organisation. Ensure transparency and manage resistance to change effectively, working closely with the Internal Communications Manager.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of change and transformation initiatives. Continuously evaluate and report on progress and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Ensure that all changes and transformation efforts comply with any regulatory requirements and mitigate risks associated with change implementation.
- Develop and manage the budget for change and transformation projects, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and accountabilities for budgetary control.
- Own the overall governance model for managing demand, approving change and prioritisation.
Experience /Attributes
- Proven experience in leading change and transformation initiatives within a healthcare, technology, or related industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Sound project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- A strategic thinker who is business outcome focussed.
- Experience in defining new strategies and developing execution plans.
- The ability to lead effectively whilst creating a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams and rolling sleeves up where necessary.
- Ability to transform complexity into simplicity for different audiences and flex up and down accordingly.
- Ability to embrace new challenges and deal with a level of ambiguity and lack of clarity, whilst continuing to effectively lead, guide and influence.
