Job Summary

The Marketing Director, Europe will be responsible for developing and implementing brand strategy and marketing plans to support the successful launch and ongoing marketing of BioCryst products across Europe.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with European and country colleagues develop and implement brand strategy and plans to ensure successful launch and ongoing marketing of BioCryst products across the region.
  • Collaborate with global market intelligence to ensure insight generation is gathered that informs European strategy and decision making for BioCryst brands across Europe.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute key European marketing deliverables for BioCryst brands.
  • Working with global/European communications and country colleagues to define and support development of an innovative multi-channel strategy for customer engagement ensuring that country needs and considerations are met.
  • Communicate across functions and cultures to ensure that brand strategy and activities are implemented effectively in countries.
  • Develop and track KPI’s to ensure commercial success of BioCryst brands across Europe.
  • Develop strong relationships with key KOLs across Europe to generate insights that inform BioCryst plans to deliver successful launch and commercial success of BioCryst brands.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Relevant academic degree in natural sciences and/or business is required.
  • Fluency in English language is essential.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills are essential.
  • MBA or equivalent qualifications would be a plus.
  • Experience working successfully in a commercial/marketing position (preferably in the rare/orphan or specialty disease space) required.
  • A motivated professional with a “can do” attitude willing to work in a fast-paced, high accountability, small company environment, able to achieve measurable results in a given timeline.
  • New Product Launch experience for a Pharmaceutical/Biotech product in rare diseases would be preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus and collaborate successfully with multiple functions in a global team environment.
  • Ability to understand, collaborate and enjoy working in a diverse global team-based organization.
  • Able to maintain professional skills and learn new ones when necessary.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain timelines.
  • Ability to travel for general business and visit treatment centers in the Country / Region (~30%).
