Environment Analyst

About the role:

Exciting opportunity for scaling an events business that sits at the heart of an international community, focused on improving environmental and social outcomes in North America and Europe.

Environment Analyst is an international membership community for the environmental services space, built around our industry-leading events, networking activities and market intelligence. We have excellent brand recognition and reputation among our core customer community, built up over our 16-year track record. We are now embarking on a major exercise to increase the scale of the business in line with customer demands.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and results-orientated B2B Digital Marketing Manager to help accelerate the growth of Environment Analyst’s flagship Sustainability Delivery Summits in Boston and London, as well as our Awards, online events and smaller networking forums.

The successful candidate will be excited to join a small, growing and driven team, focused on its mission to connect key sustainability stakeholders, in order to accelerate the delivery of sustainable infrastructure globally. You will be an essential part of our plans to grow our audience, drive awareness of our events and ensure their commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns for Environment Analyst’s events, specifically our flagship Summits
  • Develop and execute top of funnel content strategies, using pre- and post-event content to build excitement with our audience and increase engagement with attendees
  • Create persuasive copy for websites, email, newsletters and social media
  • Create and set up compelling visual content, including event brochures, online assets and videos
  • Update and maintain our event websites for a seamless user experience
  • Find opportunities to utilise AI and novel software solutions in our marketing strategy
  • Develop and enrich our HubSpot platform utilising external support where required
  • Manage the event registration processes and analyse data to optimise registration funnel performance
  • Enrich our database with new leads, nurture existing leads and manage the segmentation of our contacts
  • Devise processes to qualify these leads for subsequent sales and marketing engagement
  • Develop personas and create segmented messaging campaigns
  • Form and maintain relationships with event sponsors, speakers and attendees, to leverage brand advocacy opportunities and ensure they have a positive event experience
  • Form partnerships with industry associations and media outlets to promote our events
  • Understand the relationship between our events and membership, and develop ways to leverage the events to drive membership sales
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign effectiveness
  • Delivering a combination of guests, direct online paid registrations, as well as leads for a sales team to convert

  • Willing to travel to attend our events (currently in Boston and London)
  • Comfortable managing integrations and able to adapt to using new software and technology

Experience/requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years experience in B2B events marketing, with experience marketing large-scale, in-person events
  • Experience using and managing CRM systems (preferably Hubspot)
  • Knowledge of website management and development systems (preferably Wix)
  • Experience with design software (preferably Adobe Creative Suite)

Additional information:

  • Salary: £35-50k depending on experience
  • Location: United Kingdom (remote) or Shrewsbury (hybrid)
