? Covéa Insurance’s multi-award-winning IT Data Science team are an ambitious group of people building a class-leading data science practice for insurance. We are focused on unlocking the vast value in our data and we have a goal of enhancing key parts of our business with transparent and safe artificial intelligence (AI) products.

? You’ll play a key part by…
- Planning, overseeing, and delivering end-to-end AI projects including productionisation and deployment of machine learning (ML) models.
- Owning and steering a combination of projects within the team simultaneously.
- Developing and maintaining the underlying AI infrastructure including model pipelines, lab environments, model hosting platforms and version control.
- Applying your creativity and flair to AI experiments conducted on real business problems.
- Discovering innovative applications for AI and educating those in the business on how we work.
- Working alongside stakeholders, at all levels within the organisation, to gain domain knowledge to deliver successful products into production.
- The ethics and sustainability of the AI products you build in production.
? What would we like to see in you?
- A minimum of a 2.1 Bachelors degree.
- Experience in developing and deploying AI products in a commercial environment
- Experience with Python notebook computing is required.
- Experience in leading the development of ML models, across the entire lifecycle, specifically:
- Strong competencies in deploying production grade and fully audited ML pipelines.
- A good understanding of model hosting and containerisation.
- A good understanding of the principles of common cloud components, preferably in AWS.
- Practical experience with version control.
- Previous experience of leading stakeholder workshops, use case identification, conducting experiments and deploying ML models into production.
- Leading on the discovery and planning of future projects with the business, in line with our long-term strategy.
- An eagerness to share best practice with colleagues through either documentation or mentoring.
- Intellectual evaluation of our current processes to drive improvements.
- A passion to use AI for good and diligence in using the right tool for the right problem.
