Position Description:
As the Country Manager for KSA, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
- Lead the Sales team within KSA to meet all strategic, financial and business objectives
- Deploy, develop and coach team members through successful adaption to local market conditions
- Meet and exceed sales targets and business objectives in KSA
- Manage the communication & coordination for all NUPCO Tenders
- Lead and motivate the Sales team, supporting and driving them strategically and tactically to accelerate the liquidation and sales of the portfolio
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to implement sales strategies that increase overall revenue and focus product sales
- Interface with customers and key opinion leaders in clinical and financial environments
- Establish and manage KPIs in line with business objectives for the local Sales team
- Collaborate closely with leadership to develop business strategies that expedite annual revenue growth
- Use expert knowledge of customer and marketplace challenges to create business plans with management, accelerate annual revenues, and plan for new product launches
- Implement pricing policies and commercial strategies across all accounts
- Maintain and develop firm business relationships with clinicians, purchasing, and other strategically important clinical and economic partners
- Advise on the development of specific clinical programs within the market to provide added clinical value for practitioners and patients
- Stay updated on accurate sales and inventory forecasts to ensure customer demand fulfillment
- Provide clinical product support and demonstrations to surgeons and co-travel with the Sales teams to demonstrate best practices
- Analyse and be informed on business trends, new developments in national healthcare, and insurance reimbursement policies
- Ensure effective coordination of sales, logistical and clinical activities for the country
Requirements:
- Excellent English and Arabic written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong clinical and commercial understanding
- A team player and entrepreneurial problem solver
- Proven mentor that develops others to reach their potential and achieve business results
- Efficient techniques to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exemplify and instill the Applied Medical culture of acting with empathy and concern for patients, customers, and team members
Skills and attributes
- 10 + years of experience in medical device sales management in KSA
- Demonstrated knowledge of market conditions, such as tenders, pricing, sales cycles, and supply chains
- Contribute established key customer relationships
- Experience strategically implementing business plans to deliver significant revenue increases
- Skilled in accurately forecasting product lines based on market development, sales trends, competition, and changing market dynamics

- Background working within the laparoscopic environment
