Position: Business Development Manager – Pharma & Medical Device

Location: Remote within the UK – 75% business travel

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team. Focusing on Pharmaceutical & Medical Device customers.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Previous experience in Business Development, specifically within 3pl Contract logistics – desirable
  • Previous experience within the Pharma/Medical Device industry – desirable
  • Understanding of the sales process/mentality in terms of customer engagement
  • Understanding of marketing campaigns and how different channels are utilised to ensure the best results
  • Experience of leading new customer pursuits through the identification, management and delivery of new business
  • Previous experience conducting research meetings with potential customers and leveraging networks to understand the customer’s organization, requirements and business objectives.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with new and existing customers and to develop a deep understanding of customer needs.
