Legal and Compliance Counsel Europe

Legal Counsel advise on corporate governance matters and compliance with corporate laws and regulations.The role plays a crucial role in the development and enhancement of insurance policies and products. They review policy wordings, assess legal implications, and provide input on compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Remote – Germany

What will your job entail?

• Provide legal support on a wide range of commercial, corporate, regulatory and compliance matters to our European businesses;
• Ensure that our European businesses comply to local, regional and international regulations;
• Advise on contract terms and regulatory requirements for a wide range of contracts (vendor agreements, terms of business with insurance brokers, NDA’s);
• Ensure GDPR and data privacy law compliance, overseeing Data Protection Agreements with vendors;
• Respond to inquiries on contract interpretation and compliance from EU business stakeholders;
• Horizon scanning on new regulations that may apply to our European businesses and incorporate these in Ryan Specialty’s policies and practices.
