Summary:
As the Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of software projects from inception to delivery, ensuring high-quality standards, timely execution, and alignment with business goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and quality assurance, to drive successful software outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the development team, reviewing code and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Work with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and priorities.
- Implement and refine development processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Manage team resources, including allocating tasks, setting goals, and providing career development opportunities.
- Track and analyze development metrics, providing regular updates and reports to senior management on project status and team performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven 3+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
- C1/C2 English proficiency
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a development team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address technical and team-related challenges effectively.
- Experience in managing complex software projects, with a track record of successful delivery.
- Familiarity with development tools and platforms (e.g., Git, JIRA, CI/CD pipelines).
- Relevant certifications in project management or software development is a plus.
