Your Role
We are seeking a skilled Technology Training Specialist ideally with expertise in Case Management and Document Management Systems to join our Next Generation Matter Management programme.
As a Technology Training Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training initiatives that empower our colleagues to leverage our inhouse Peppermint Matter Management system built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 technology effectively, enhancing productivity and supporting the firm’s strategy.
Your role will be pivotal in driving the successful adoption of our new Matter Management solutions within the firm, encouraging the best use of IM’s investment in information technology by enabling colleagues to use the technology appropriately to optimise case management workflows and document handling processes.
What you’ll be doing
- Assist with the agile implementation and roll out of IM’s Peppermint Matter Management, ensuring all colleagues are trained to use the new system.
- Develop and deliver new technology training, educating, and assisting with adoption to support delivery of iterative releases and the introduction of new features.
- Design of learning material in a range of methodologies which will include but is not exclusive to: workshops (virtual and face to face), group coaching, e-learning, video production, written collateral on our Case Management and Document Management Systems tailored to the needs of our legal professionals.
- Create and maintain learning material documentation, user manuals, guides, and other reference materials.
- Collaborate with the project and legal team, participating in frequent meetings, working with early adopters, people managers and legal Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to identify training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training and learning outcomes.
- Provide one-on-one / group coaching and support to colleagues on system functionalities and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in legal technology to incorporate into training programs.
- Conduct evaluations to measure the effectiveness of the learning interventions, using the results to make improvements.
About You
- Proven experience as a Technology or IT Trainer, with strong classroom, virtual, e-learning, 1:1 training exposure.
- Previous evidence of involvement in wider firm projects and able to see the bigger picture and identify the challenges/requirements.
- Ability to assess training needs and carry out a gap analysis.
- Experience in developing training materials and conducting engaging training sessions.
- Experienced in Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical people within the firm.
- Stakeholder analysis, management, and experience of navigating stakeholders at all levels in the business.
- Innovation and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of the Microsoft Office suite and applications within Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience in working in a regulated environment (either FCA or SRA would be ideal)
- Flexibility to meet changing requirements whilst potentially travelling between offices.
