Our Implementation Consultant is the primary contact for our clients throughout each project and is a key player in the overall client management aspect of the business. You will have the ability to interact with clients on a daily basis and help identify and address core business requirements. The Implementation Consultant exercises judgment on methods and techniques for obtaining solutions within generally defined practices and policies. You will also be responsible for communicating integration requirements to our technical team, executing system configuration, provide system design testing as well as general maintenance support to MercuryGate clients.

  • Assists the project team by gathering knowledge about business processes from clients in order to effectively determine project scope, customer and product requirements.
  • Develop effective solutions with moderate supervision.
  • Maintains good working relationships with customers and other MG functional disciplines.
  • Participates in and contributes to customer and internal meetings.
  • Develops and maintains high level of knowledge of MercuryGate products, solution templates and systems.
  • Provides regular account, project status, and project issues updates to the MercuryGate Program Manager.
  • Ensures compliance with internal and external company policies and procedures.
  • Expands skill sets and explores future applications of software and business knowledge to increase opportunities for billability.
  • Other duties as directed by the line manager.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a transport related functional discipline or industry, or as a Consultant with high levels of demonstrated performance.
  • Previous TMS implementation experience required.
  • Highly developed organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in requirements, resolution, and quality assurance.
  • Proven ability to identify potential problems/outstanding tasks and find solutions.
  • Highly developed communication and consulting skills.
  • Must be able to travel (roughly 30%).
  • Must be fluent in English, fluency in a second language a plus.

  • Compensation for this position includes a base salary of £60,000 – £85,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a bonus calculated as a percentage of base salary.
