This position is responsible for identifying and growing revenue within the Filtration business in the European region. The incumbent needs to develop a deep understanding of the current and prospective client base as well as provide knowledge of the current or planned technical roadmaps as well as the competitors. Your expertise will influence growth strategies, revenue forecasts, and aid in technology development plans.

Wherever clean water is needed for the functioning and success of B2B companies and institutions, you need to be present. Following client segments: Water treatment industry, plumbing and HVAC, food and beverage industry, health care and pharmaceuticals, hospitality industry, manufacturing and industrial processes, aquariums and aquaculture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage and sustain new and existing partnerships to explore new areas of work or opportunities
  • Build comprehensive account plans, opportunity and relationship maps
  • Meet and exceed quantitative goals for overall account growth and track
  • Build strong technical expertise and become a product expert
  • Collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, as well as teams to best determine client needs to execute business development and growth strategies
  • Be a brand ambassador; plan, execute and participate in industry conferences, events, and educational seminars
  • Make recommendations on support resources needed and possible investment opportunities

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Technology, Engineering, Science
  • In-depth understanding of water filtration technologies, understanding of regulatory standards and environmental guidelines in Europe
  • Proficiency in B2B sales strategies and techniques with proven ability to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns
  • Ability to understand and explain technical aspects of filtration systems as well as to collaborate with technical teams for product customisation
  • Skills in market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction
  • Strong networking abilities to build relationships with potential clients and partners
  • Proficient in negotiation to secure deals and partnerships including the ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Competence in managing multiple projects simultaneously, including timelines, budgets and resources
  • Proficiency in English. Language skills in German, French, Spanish or other European languages can be advantageous
  • Proficiency in utilizing MS Office, in particular PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Readiness to travel as required, 50-70%
