Core Responsibilities

  • Managing the full recruitment process for various roles (technical and non-technical), including sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating and conducting, together with team-specific hiring managers.
  • Facilitating the full onboarding of new hires, including their personal mentorship during this period.
  • Facilitating offboarding of employees.
  • Assist in organising and running employee wellness programs, events and initiatives (online and in person).
  • Managing internal, team-wide communication through regular updates, newsletters, and announcements.

Preferred Education, Skills & Experience

  • A suitable qualification in human resources, industrial psychology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a similar role in a hybrid or fully remote team.
  • Proven experience in recruiting for both technical and non-technical roles.
  • A strong understanding of South African employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information at a company-wide level.
  • Experience with implementing and managing employee wellness programs, events and initiatives.
  • Experience working with an ATS.
  • Experience working with any/all of our internal tools: Slack, Google Suite, JazzHR, Jira, Confluence and 15Five
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise accordingly.
  • A high standard of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to think strategically and to align key responsibilities with company goals.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
