Clear Voice
We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to join our collaborative and welcoming Clear Voice team on a permanent basis.
The Role
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and leading our marketing and branding strategies to drive key business metrics including leads, MQLS, SQLs, opportunities, and net revenue. This will include creating and executing marketing campaigns to drive continuous growth, reach and engagement, attracting and retaining new customers.
You will create and deliver strategic digital marketing campaigns to build our online presence across all social media platforms, creating compelling and engaging content, to drive sales growth and brand awareness.
You will work as part of the Clear Voice Sales and Marketing team, delivering effective and engaging internal and external communications through a variety of channels and plan and deliver PR strategy to raise the profile of our business with relevant media.
This role will contribute to the overall commercial success of the organisation in accordance with the Clear Voice strategy.
As the Marketing Manager your duties would include:
- Manage and lead a small marketing department.
- Manage the development and implementation of the company’s marketing and branding strategies, including digital marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, including lead generation, brand awareness, and customer engagement.
- Implement promotional and lead generation campaigns to drive brand awareness and deliver qualified leads converting to sales.
- Embody the brand guidelines and consistently implement the brand voice across all channels and marketing materials.
- Build and manage our social media profiles across all channels, proactively producing content to drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads, exploring new ways to reach our target buyer via social networks.
- Strategically plan and manage our social media campaigns across all channels – Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn– driving continuous growth, reach and engagement.
- Create compelling and engaging content for social media, and email marketing, ensuring content aligns with the brand voice, adheres to SEO best practise and resonates with the target audience.
- Understand our audience’s audience and be aware of social topics and trends.
- In collaboration with the Sales & Marketing Director, produce tailored messaging, engaging client communications and up-to-date promotional material.
- Conduct research, review industry trends, and identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Work with influencers and key journalists to develop brand awareness and curate content.
- Plan and deliver PR strategy to raise the profile of our business with relevant media.
- SEO research and implementation, driving traffic through SEO techniques.
- Utilise analytics tools to track, measure and report on the performance of digital marketing efforts and implement strategies to increase audience reach and engagement.
- Conduct data analysis to inform decisions to maximise sales for our current product range and future products.
- Deliver marketing outputs on time and on budget, reporting regular updates to the Sales & Marketing Director.
- Provide senior management with metrics and presentation material as input for monthly and quarterly SLT/Board meetings.
- Develop sound working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, non-executive directors, and media.
- Provide support to the Sales Team with organising, developing and promoting Clear Voice activities and events.
- Organise promotional materials for company events and trade fairs and to support the onboarding of new clients.
- Produce marketing collateral, including case studies and newsletters, to support all areas of the business.
- Contribute to the overall success of the organisation in accordance with Clear Voice strategy.
- Any other duties as deemed reasonable by the Sales and Marketing Director.
The experience and skills you need:
- Extensive experience working in public relations, marketing, or communications.
- Ability to think both strategically and commercially with a good understanding of overall business dynamics.
- B2B and B2C experience.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and best practise.
- Experience of implementing and seeing through a marketing strategy.
- Experience of successfully supporting Marketing teams on a wide range of communications matters.
- Technically strong understanding of social networks right the way through to leveraging data in marketing.
- Campaign development, rollout and reporting.
- Management of PR campaigns.
- Experience in inbound marketing and marketing automation.
- Experience of working alongside designers and technology professionals.
- Experience of using social media to extend reach of an organisation.
- Experience with SEO, SEM, email marketing, PPC and Paid Social.
- Strong analytical and project management experience.
- Commercial experience.
What else to expect:
- You would work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- This is a home-based role, but there will be the need to attend the office in Dover on occasion and to travel around the UK for meetings and events.
