VVIP Travel Agent (Hybrid/Remote)

We are very excited to be on the lookout for an experienced VVIP Executive Travel Consultant, to join our Media & Entertainment division. This fast paced and interesting role would suit someone who has a passion for first class, white gloved, hands on service, approach.

As a VVIP Executive Travel Consultant You Will

• Have a calm, reassuring and no task will be too much trouble approach to the role. Be able to offer hints and suggestions, enjoy making recommendations and thinking on your feet.
• Accurately and efficiently handling incoming travel requests either by phone, BCD personal mobile or e-mail, as you will be their emergency line if anything is needed when they are travelling
• Pre-empting and understanding the needs of your clients’ travel policies and appropriately guiding them to the best solutions
• Work closely and monitor VVIPs from start to finish of their trip and pre-empting all aspects of their travel itineraries. E.g., contacting car drivers when meet and greet assistance has been booked, ensuring everything is running smoothly
• Check flight schedules to make sure that there are no delays or disruptions and rearranging if disruptions happen.
• Contact hotels before the VVIP arrives to make sure everything is in place and all requests have been met.
• Offer a bespoke service to also book the travel requests for their family
• Be aware of their budgets and offering the best deals possible
• Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and fulfilling the payment process on behalf of the client
• Keep up to date with the ever changing nature of travel

About You

• Entertainment or VIP travel industry knowledge are preferred
• You’ll be calm, reassuring and be able to think on your feet
• Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, procedures, and processes
• Advanced skills on travel industry systems – Sabre preferred
• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and able to adapt to change
• Ability to work flexible hours – i.e. – following your VVIP when they are travelling and taking charge if anything needs to be done.
• Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and judgment
• Proven excellent customer service provision and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to easily establish rapport and develop lasting relationships with the booker and traveller
• Always being proactive and able to provide effective travel solutions when needed
• Good worldwide geography and keen attention to detail
