Project Manager (Hybrid in Prague)

We are looking for a Project Manager who will join us to build, monitor, and control processes and team results.

About the project:

An innovative fintech platform transforms how consumers manage finances and purchases using BNPL. It offers seamless payment solutions, integrating online and in-store shopping with various merchants. It provides its users with flexible payment options, real-time spending insights, and robust security measures, enhancing their financial management and shopping experiences.

We don’t play hardball, it’s not our style. Project has been active in EU since 2014. Currently, there are 3 squads that manage product features with total number of 30 engineers. A project manager is going to start working with 1 squad only.

About the team: PM (you), BA, Tech Lead, 3 BE Engineers, 2 QA, 2 FE Engineers, DevOps

You have:

• A minimum of 3 years of commercial experience as a Project manager / Scrum master;
• Project manager in software development projects (preferable in Fintech);
• Strong knowledge of every phase of software development;
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and project management software;
• Ability to prioritize and to control the deadlines;
• Ability to set up the processes and guide the Agile team;
• Lean development focus;
• Critical thinking;
• Ability to plan and manage releases;
• Risk analysis and risk management;
• B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or higher.

Skills that will be a plus:

• Experience with Fintech and Banking domains;
• Technical background;
• PM or SM certifications.

• Leading and guiding project teams using Agile methodologies according to project needs;
• Collaborating with stakeholders to form and prioritize backlog for your team;
• Planning predictable releases and meeting the agreed deadlines;
• Ensuring that project documentation (product and technical) is consistently updated and maintained;
• Communicating with the team, making sure everyone is moving according to set goals.
