An exciting opportunity to join a growing team, reporting directly to the Business Unit Manager, working on WMS and WCS projects within Northern Europe. You will lead projects from concept lock through to successful delivery and support handover, ensuring our customers’ expectations and needs are met, and costs and timelines are maintained and controlled.
Your role in our team
- Leading, both professional and technical implementation, of IT-software projects for Körber Supply Chain Software.
- As the responsible person in all project phases, you will create functional specifications together with our customers.
- You will be responsible for the technical management of the project team throughout all project phases (Design, Adaptation, Validation and Deployment).
- Highlight risks and dependencies and lead internal or external teams ensuring that risks are resolved or mitigated.
- As a technical expert, you will support the sales processes of our products and in the estimations process.
- Track progress effectively against the original timeline, cost, quality, and success metrics.
- Manage billing processes, maintaining keys aspects and processes within NetSuite tool.
- Effectively manage and engage with key stakeholders including customers, partners, and suppliers to ensure project cadence, governance and confidence are maintained throughout the project life cycle.
- First line of contact for customer requests and issues.
- Delivering products and services with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Technical guidance of internal project team members and resource management.
- Leading status, steering and team meetings with regular project status reports.
- Support and development of internal project management processes.
Your Skills
- You have a strong track record of on-time, on-budget, and to-specification delivery of projects.
- Knowledge and/or experience of Supply Chain and Logistics operations and industry.
- Knowledge of a programming language as well as experience in dealing with databases is an advantage.
- Effective influencing skills and ability to manage relationships internally and externally.
- Strong analytical skills with understanding of the business impact of decisions.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic personality, ability to work independently.
- Thorough understanding of the project life cycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and interpret to make sense which is relative.
- Experienced with key Microsoft tools.
- Willingness to travel, mainly within Europe, but may include further.
Desirable
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Experience managing Agile and/or Non-Agile projects.
- Relevant professional qualification / certification.
