The main objective of the Marketing Automation Developer is to build and deploy digital marketing campaigns using the latest Marketing Automation platforms. You will be given full Marketing Automation system training to build microsites and emails using web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. You will configure the integration of Marketing Automation and CRM platforms using the connectors provided in the Marketing Automation platforms and perform test activities to confirm all elements are correct.
This role is part of a team of technical specialists and involves working closely with the strategic marketing teams to design, build, manage, and execute marketing automation campaigns with an emphasis on creative multi-channel customer and prospect nurture programs across the entire Wiley portfolio.

What we look for:
Essential
- B.A. degree and/or equivalent certification
- Solid working knowledge of Web Technologies such as HTML, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
- Marketing automation and/or digital marketing experience
- Experience with Adobe Campaign or Adobe Experience Manager (or equivalent marketing automation platform)
- Experience with server-side development technologies (e.g., PHP, Node.js)
- Experience with JS frameworks (e.g., jQuery, AngularJS)
- Experience working with API services and version control.
- Experience in web/graphic design and familiarity with applications such as Photoshop and Dreamweaver
