YOUR IMPACT

Redwood is recruiting an HRBP for a 6-month maternity leave cover position. Your role would be to act as a strategic partner to leaders across the business. You will be responsible for driving HR initiatives that align with Redwood’s goals and objectives, while also ensuring that all policies and practices are in compliance with local laws and regulations in our European offices, UK, Germany and the Netherlands.

In this role you will serve as the primary point of contact for managers and employees on a wide range of employment topics. Responsible for providing guidance throughout the entire employee lifecycle, to include on-boarding, employee relations, HR policies, performance management, benefits, engagement and other employment-related matters as necessary.

Your specialized knowledge of employment matters in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands will be particularly valuable in providing stakeholder guidance, ensuring compliance and implementing policies and procedures.

  • Providing strategic support to business leaders on HR-related matters, including organizational design, talent management, employee engagement, and change management.
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and programs that align with Redwood’s mission, vision and values.
  • Advising managers and employees on HR issues, providing mediation and conflict resolution as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, including but not limited to, employment contracts, working hours, and employee benefits for our European offices.
  • Analyzing HR data and metrics to identify areas for improvement. Measuring engagement, including the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, while advising leadership on follow up actions.
  • Leading and/or supporting HR projects that drive business success and improve employee experience
  • Overseeing all employee lifecycle activities, and where needed mentoring the HR Coordinator in effective execution of processes.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as an HR business partner, in European geographies, to include UK, Germany and the Netherlands.
  • Logical thinker that is outcome oriented, drawing conclusions based on factual data and evidence.
  • Conscientious with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Data driven, analytical with exceptional skill in Excel and Google Worksheets.
  • Able to communicate at all levels of the business.
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
  • Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
