We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to join our team and help us continue our growth and success.
As a Senior Business Analyst you will play a crucial role in analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and translate them into actionable insights and requirements. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding strategic decisions and ensuring the successful implementation of projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Gather, document, and analyse business requirements from stakeholders
- Develop and present detailed business cases and project proposals to senior management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs and objectives
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit and prioritize requirements.
- Create detailed documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, and process maps
- Perform data analysis to support decision-making and project planning.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and management
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive
- Lead refinement sessions and actively participate in all Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Support sprint planning by aligning with Product Owner’s priorities for timely releases
- Help create user manuals, training materials, and other essential documentation
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate new features and enhancements
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
- 7 years experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
