Sprint Enterprise Technology

— No recruiters or agencies please —

We’re Sprint Enterprise Technology – a small fintech company, doing big things in the UK wealth management industry; and we have the awards to prove it! Our mission is to bring about a more open and integrated wealth management industry by enabling the flow of rich and accurate data between systems.

We are looking for our first dedicated business analyst to join the team.

We provide two products:

  • Fastrak: our client reporting solution that wealth management firms of all sizes rely on to deliver high-quality, customisable financial reports to their clients.
  • FINIO: our rapidly growing, innovative, award-winning data hub that intelligently connects investment platforms with software providers and advisory firms for the flow of investment data.

We are a fully remote, UK-based team. We are always working on a wide range of exciting projects, and we need you to shape and support the delivery of upgrades and new integrations to FINIO.

What you will do

  • Establish a business analysis function and enhance existing product development processes, sharing business analysis best practices across the organisation.
  • Work closely with the technical team on complex, data-focused projects to understand clients’ needs and translate these into actionable technical requirements, ultimately ensuring we deliver the right solutions.
  • Design and map new and existing end-to-end processes and solutions, both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with industry partners, stakeholders and prospective clients to conduct market research and understand industry needs, to uncover new opportunities and drive our product roadmap.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and features by providing insights and technical expertise.
  • You’ll get stuck into a wide variety of projects and tasks, which may not always typically be a business analyst’s responsibility.

Who we are looking for

  • An experienced business analyst who will act as our expert in this area.
  • A business analyst with a technical background, comfortable with data manipulation languages, including SQL.
  • Experience working on data integrations and with data transfer methods such as API and SFTP. Even better if you have experience with web services and integrations built on Microsoft tech stack.
  • A confident communicator, who can engage with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
  • Experienced in working with stakeholders to discuss their ambiguous or unclear needs and translating them into a clearly defined solution and set of requirements.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a small company environment. Embraces uncertainty and change.
  • Motivated and proactive. You must be comfortable working under your own initiative, and passionate about shaping this new role and creating/enhancing the business analysis and product development function at Sprint.
  • A track record of critical thinking and problem-solving. Many of the solutions we deliver have never been done before.
  • Experience working in the UK wealth management / financial advisory market is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Monday.com or similar work management tools is desirable.
  • Holding business analysis qualifications/certifications is desirable.
  • Legally authorised to work in the UK without sponsorship.

What we can offer you

  • Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
  • A fully remote role (working from home) with occasional funded company meet-ups
  • Incredible exposure to a wide range of industry-leading organisations
  • Flexible working hours
  • 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), increasing with length of service, and an extra day off on your birthday
  • 2 days of volunteering/corporate social responsibility leave
  • Holiday purchase scheme (buy or sell up to 5 days)
  • Life assurance
  • Contribution to private health cover
  • Employee assistance programme
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Personal development/training budget
  • Salary sacrifice for qualifying benefits (e.g. extra pension contributions, EV purchase)
