Job Description

The company is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join their team as the Head of Business Development for their Biomedical AI Clinical Testing division. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive innovation in the healthcare sector while contributing to the growth and success of the groundbreaking startup.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic business development initiatives to expand the company’s presence and market share in the biomedical AI clinical testing industry.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in Pharmaceutical companies, Laboratories, Regulatory bodies, and industry influencers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to drive revenue growth and enhance service offerings.
  • Provide strategic guidance and insight into market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform decision-making and product development.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including research and development, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and execution of business objectives.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and networking functions to promote the brand and build visibility within the healthcare community.
  • Drive the development and implementation of effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve targets and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • Ability to speak “native language” with Pharma, researchers and Laboratory Decision makers. Deep understanding of clinical trials, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics related to biomedical AI can be handy.
  • Strong network of contacts and relationships with key decision-makers in pharmaceutical companies and healthcare organizations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels of an organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and other business engagements.
