This is a role to support the recruitment of, and relationship with, new joiners to the Quilter Academy. The Academy has significant growth plans and requires outgoing, articulate managers to be the face of the Academy, build external relations, approach, and develop relationships with potential sources of candidates, and then take potential candidates through a selection process. On successful appointment to the Academy retain an ongoing relationship to support new joiners in the early stages of their career with Quilter.

About The Role

Contract type: Permanent, Full -Time

The key to your success in this role will be the ability to promote and present the opportunity to join Quilter as a Financial Adviser, recruits will come from all backgrounds and may not previously have worked in financial services.

This is a career change” opportunity, and you will be required to develop relationships with potential new candidates, to host seminars and webinars to promote this fantastic opportunity.

Once interest has been gained you will be responsible for leading the selection process, that will identify if a candidate has the right characteristics, aptitude, attitude, and self-determination to pursue a new career as a Financial Adviser, which will include completing a Level 4 Diploma in financial planning. You will be accountable for identifying, contacting, interviewing, assessing, attracting, and selecting appropriate prospective candidates.

You will ensure that good customer outcomes are central to decision-making and lead on all aspects of decision-making on quality and risks associated with prospective candidates.

Great at maintaining strong working relationships you will be accountable for building, managing and maintaining relationships with new candidates enrolled into the Academy. Once selected you will be their key point of contact for a minimum period of 6 months, as they progress through training. Being able to engage, encourage and support individuals through a significant change will be central to your success.

You’ll develop a strong sense of team within the Quilter Academy and actively look for opportunities for cross collaboration within teams.

Support a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement, placing the customer experience front and centre. You will be expected to uphold our client centric and professional ethos at all times.

You will build strong relationships across the other areas of the business, such as Quilter Cheviot, UK Platform and Operations, identifying opportunities to leverage knowledge, skills and experience for customer and commercial benefit.

You will be required to ensure timely reporting, demonstrating progress against your agreed objectives. You may be asked to undertake tasks outside of the above, subject to the needs of the Academy or wider Quilter leadership as may be deemed necessary.

  • You should have had experience managing a team in a controlled environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present.
  • Experience working in financial services.
  • Experience in recruitment preferred.
  • Good computer skills and ability to use excel and power point.
