Purpose

The role of Commercial Data Analyst is to be a link between all sources of Cloud’s raw data and the customers’ requirements around the visibility and presentation of energy and predictive maintenance insights. The aim is to maximise customers’ investment and deliver valuable information that can be actioned by interacting with IoT technologies to monitor trends to determine areas for optimisation and the reduction of waste.

Accountabilities

• Liaising with Cloud customers to understand their commercial requirements around our IoT solutions and who will be utilising them.
• Take ownership of the flow of data to our customers, ensuring availability, integrity, and consistency.

What you’ll be doing day to day

Key Responsibilities

• Ownership of all external reporting to clients, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, clear communication, and valuable insights.
• Proactively seek commercial opportunities for Cloud and its clients, whilst driving process best practice, efficiencies, and cost-saving initiatives
• Project appraisal through detailed data interrogation and modelling, considering options in a clear and structured way, proposing and implementing recommendations.
• Working with the IoT Product Manager to deliver outputs for our customers that are future-proof.
• Garner an understanding of our Freedom and IoT data, understanding the flow, where it is, what it is, and how it can be utilised for commercial benefits, and correlate it to external data where appropriate.

What you’ll bring to the table

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

• Experience working with and making sense of data for commercial output.
• Experience in a previous commercial role, liaising directly with external stakeholders/clients.
• Good working knowledge of PowerBI or similar packages.
