Empowering Education International Ltd (EEI), a division of Tribal, partners with governments and education institutions around the world who need help to deliver on their strategic ambitions to improve the quality and impact of education. EEI have got a longstanding record for delivering education improvement activities and delivering DFE (dept for Education) contracts.
The role
The Business Support Officer will facilitate the efficient functioning of education service contracts and projects. The post-holder will support the successful delivery of contracts, undertaking administrative tasks in line with the needs of specific contracts.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide administration for project finances
- Administrate the associate commissioning process, update and issue contracts and project letters to associates and other suppliers and keep the tracker up to date.
- Administrate and update databases, workflows, trackers every day.
- Enter data and information into databases and ensure confidentiality is maintained.
- Support the management and utilisation of project databases, by project team members and other relevant stakeholders, through verbal and written training and guidance.
- Proofread and edit project documentation.
- Coordinate the planning of meetings, take minutes as requested and prepare action points.
The Person
- Experience of working in a fast-paced administrative role
- Experience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven excellent organisational and planning skills
- Strong competence in Office 365 (Excel, Word etc)
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- Experience of working with sensitive data within a confidential environment
- Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and skills in scrutiny of own and others’ work
