Job Role
The purpose of our Fast Track Claims Handler role is to progress a portfolio of Personal Injury and Property Damage claims to an effective and satisfactory conclusion for customers, in accordance with the uninsured and untraced drivers’ agreements, providing an excellent customer experience, while dealing with customers in a helpful, proactive and professional way.
Key Outputs
- Manage the claims process from end to end, treating customers fairly
- Collaborate and maintain effective working relationships with the wider team
- Make timely and effective decisions on ID, liability and quantum to ensure business targets are met
- Analyse evidence to make informed decisions in support of lifecycles
- Plan and prioritise own workload, in line with changing requirements
- To be outcomes focused in delivering the best result for claimants and member insurers
- Contribute in creating and maintaining a high performing culture
- Act as a role model for our principles: Think Big; Inspire and Customer First
- Work in conjunction with company policies and procedures
- Ensure that all data protection requirements are complied with
Skills and Knowledge
- Previous experience of handling Personal Injury Motor Claims with a financial authority of £25k
- A good understanding of motor insurance and claims principles in general
- Experience of working in a customer focused role
- Attention to detail, with high levels of accuracy
- Taking initiative and deriving solutions
- Excellent listening and questioning skills, with the ability to extract detailed and relevant information
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Computer skills, including experience of using MS Office

Salary £29,000.00 per annum
Grade 8
£320 (before tax) start up allowance
IT kit supplied to you
35 hours, Monday – Friday
Fully remote from the UK or hybrid working options can be discussed (depending on location)
