  • We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • Strong Java developer (Java 8 and above) with solid background in Spring, Spring Boot, Restful services, object orientation and design patterns
  • Experience in Technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript and REACT would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong hands-on experience in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and other scripting languages to support DevOps and Quality Engineering work.
  • Database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Experience with building datastore solutions on at least one No-SQL(Elasticsearch) would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience with Cloud Native technologies on AWS, GCP or Azure
  • Build automation tools to support CI/CD pipeline
  • Strong Accessibility, Security, Performance and Caching coding
  • Experience in writing Junit and test automation frameworks such has cucumber, Mockito, Cypress.
  • Git source control
  • Web application frameworks and API technologies e.g. Swagger, OpenAPI
  • Proven ability to collaborate across build teams, making sound technical decisions
  • Experience in providing technical solutions from designs

  • Set yourself apart:

  • Typically, 8+ years of experience in development
  • Proven ability to apply analytical and creative thought and translate into technical solutions
  • Proven ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues
  • Ability to mentor and develop senior developers
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Can contribute to overall delivery discussions, mainly around best practice and modern development tools / methodologies
  • Experience shaping and delivering medium to large size pieces of work
  • Experience mobilizing and shaping technical teams
  • Satisfactory BPSS and SC security clearance – which requires 5 years continuous UK address history at the point of application
  • Ability to understand risk, and be able to provide mitigating solutions for multiple teams
