REPORTS TO: REGIONAL DIRECTOR UK/EMEA

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
You know how to manage a project team and can expertly juggle scope, budget, process and communication simultaneously. Speaking of communication, you’re great at it, whether it’s keeping your team continually informed or updating stakeholders and customers. You know how to identify risks, adjust priorities and are on top of project updates. You’re ready to lead a team, according to the structure below.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
You’re an experienced project manager with a technical (FTTH planning) background, or someone who has held a Planning Manager type role who is unflustered by managing client and internal stakeholder demands. You know how to guide your team to deliver quality projects that exceed customer expectations, while keeping them on track and on budget. You’re passionate about team well-being, keep an eye out to make sure the team is working reasonable hours and are committed to keeping team morale high.
HERE’S HOW SUCCESS BREAKS DOWN ACROSS A PROJECT:
- Schedule: On time, every time
- Budget: On budget with project profitability greater than or equal to 80% and revenue forecasts, profit and loss reports and invoices delivered as required
- Scope: Well defined and meets the customer expectations with change requests submitted as needed
- Team: Well managed, trained, informed, and motivated
- Customer: Exceed expectations and help them solve their problems

– Project management:
- Clearly establish project scope
- Create and oversee schedules
- Develop and monitor team performance and project costs
- Develop meaningful relationships with all stakeholders
- Day to day interface with client and internal teams throughout project lifecycle

– Managing project commercials and financials:
- Forecasts (internal/external)
- Creation of Work Orders/Scopes of Work
- Profit and loss tracking
- Change Management
- Deliverable Tracking and Invoicing
– Team management:
- Strong, transparent communication
- Build rapport, maintain morale
- Know when to push, when to empathise
- Proficient in delegation and setting expectations
- Manage delivery partners: scope, schedule
– Customer service:
- Empathetic and timely communication
- Meet and exceed expectations
- Flexibility to work across multiple timezones whilst maintaining customer relations
– Technical:
- Good understanding of typical UK/European FTTH network architectures, BT OpenReach PIA usage, field survey regulations
- GIS systems and/or FTTH planning experience preferred, with the ability to know what a ‘good’ design looks like
