? How you’ll make an impact

We are looking for a self-motivated product manager who can work alongside engineers in 6-week cycles. You will interact with customers and internal stakeholders to discover and prioritise opportunities for driving forward the quality and efficiency of our ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) product, before presenting solutions that will benefit both the customer and the business. You will rely on your toolbox of product management skills to define, refine, and present information to senior management.

As a senior team member, you will be expected to work with and mentor other product team members too.

?️ What you’ll do

The Product Manager is responsible for developing and delivering a product strategy that helps us enable practices to provide a best-in-class experience to their patients, working alongside a team of engineers and designers.

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer needs through qualitative and quantitative methods, including customer interviews, market research, and data analysis
  • Break down high-level features into actionable requirements, use cases and workflows
  • Tighten product feedback loops, including MVP, beta groups, and internal stakeholders
  • Working closely with engineers and product designers at every stage of discovery, design & development
  • Write market and product requirement documents
  • Manage release notes and change-log communication to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business objectives, product portfolio, and competition
  • Manage stakeholder expectations
  • Develop revenue models, as required
  • Be a thought leader within Dentally in Product Management best practice
  • Have a passion for developing and mentoring others in the team
  • Demonstrate a hunger for learning and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrate discipline and commitment to sustained and high-paced delivery cadence and processes required to support this
  • Learn to say ‘no.’

? What you’ll bring with you

  • 5+ years experience in a product manager role
  • Exposure working in a fast-paced start-up/scale-up, with the ability to multi-task and stay organised
  • Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) products
  • Data analysis experience, ideally with SQL
  • Understanding of modern product discovery and delivery techniques and methods.
  • Ability to produce solutions to complex problems with many constraints and use sound judgement to assess risks.
  • The ability to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
  • Proven ability working within product squads with engineers and designers
  • Strong analytical skills to solve complex problems and make data-informed decisions
