Lead Product Manager (Datalore)

At Datalore, we are building a collaborative data analytics platform for teams. Our long-term goal is not only to serve data teams who use Python, SQL, and R, but also to make data analytics easily accessible company-wide. Right now, we’re mostly focused on tech-savvy users from data teams, but we want to expand our focus and add a powerful, low-code analytics environment for business teams.

We’re looking for an experienced and energetic product leader to drive and build a sustainable product that streamlines insight delivery and boosts productivity among data and business teams.

In this role, you will:

• Define the product strategy and translate it into a vision that balances users’ needs, business goals, and resource limitations.
• Take responsibility for the product roadmap and lifecycle, help the entire team balance long-term and short-term goals, and represent the users within the development lifecycle.
• Conduct market and competitive research to make informed, data-driven decisions.
• Dig into complex user scenarios, explore pain points, and deliver viable solutions that bring value.
• Make things simple by proposing necessary and sufficient feature concepts without going into too much detail.
• Work closely with marketing, design, sales, and engineering teams to deliver value to users.
• Take responsibility for fighting churn and boosting user activation in the product.

We’ll be happy to have you on our team if you have:

• At least 5 years of product management experience in complex B2B products with clear product results.
• Strong product sense, with a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points in business and data analytics.
• An entrepreneurial mentality – you enjoy creating things from scratch and generating and validating hypotheses.
• A good command of English and strong spoken and written communication skills.
• Strong prioritization skills.
• Experience with Python and SQL at a basic level.
• An understanding of data analysis workflows in small and large companies.

We’d be especially thrilled if you have:

• Experience in data analytics and(or) BI.
• Experience with building products for non-technical business users.
• Experience with developing products for enterprise customers.
