Specialist Tax Reporting and Tax Processes
Responsibilities
- Responsible for individual tasks and selected workstreams within the development, execution and documentation of tax reporting related to BEPS 2.0 Global Minimum Taxation, including relevant forecasts, deferred tax impact assessments and Top-up Tax calculations
- Contributes to the design and implementation of tax data collection processes, specifically for Global Minimum Taxation and Country-by-Country Reporting
- Supports the assessment and implementation of relevant IT software solutions
- Shares best practice on tax accounting and tax reporting during implementation of Global Minimum Taxation
- Assist with the implementation of new tax accounting processes and procedures
- Training of tax, finance and accounting personnel in tax accounting and tax reporting topics and procedures
- Ad-hoc support to Senior Manager Global Tax Processes and Tax Analytics as well as Director Transfer Pricing and Global Tax Processes
Qualifications
- University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or Taxation
- At least five years relevant work experience in a tax accounting or reporting role either with a multinational group or an established tax consultancy firm
- A qualification in tax or accounting and knowledge of country/international tax regulations and IFRS accounting standards would be preferred
- Excellent English language skills, any additional language will be a plus
- Understanding of IT systems, as well as Business Process Mapping software
- Knowledge of taxation, accounting and consolidation systems and processes
- Strong communication skills, ability to explain complex topics clearly and simply to non-experts
- Capability of making complex judgements and solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical and conceptual skills
- Commitment to process improvement through technology, with the ability to use own initiative and work independently
- Responsibility and ability to work on complex projects and prioritize to ensure that deadlines are met
