Manager Marketplace Operations (m/f/d)

Location: Munich, Germany; Berlin, Germany; remote, Germany; remote, Spain

Your responsibilities

• Operational Ownership:Take ownership of key operational tasks within the BestSecret Marketplace, ensuring efficient and seamless execution. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance operational processes and implement improvements.
• Marketplace Proposition Enhancement: Collaborate with internal teams to support the continuous refinement of our marketplace proposition and processes. Contribute insights and suggestions to optimize the value proposition for brand partners and customers.
• Brand Onboarding and Support: Work closely with the supply team to facilitate technical onboarding of brand partners onto the marketplace. Provide consultative guidance to brands to drive collaborative business growth through effective marketplace utilization.
• Process Development and Refinement: Develop and refine marketplace processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Tech, BI, Legal, Finance, Buying, Content Creation, and Logistics to identify and prioritize improvements.
• Enhancing Partner Experience: Collaborate with internal teams to define additional services that enhance the overall partner experience on the marketplace.
• KPI Management and Reporting: Manage and monitor business and operational KPIs. Develop reporting routines and dashboards to provide insights to internal and external stakeholders. Present findings and insights effectively to drive informed decision-making.
• Contractual Support: Assist brand partners with any questions or inquiries related to the contractual aspects of their engagement with the marketplace.
• Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning sessions to align operational initiatives with the overall marketplace strategy. Contribute insights and recommendations to support the development of long-term goals and objectives.
• Continuous Platform Improvements: Actively contribute to the ongoing enhancements and upgrades of the marketplace platform. Identify areas for continuous improvement and collaborate with relevant teams to implement changes.

Your Qualification

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in selling on and/or building and/or operating e-commerce marketplaces.
• Ability to define product features and processes based on a strategic vision and analyze and improve existing functions.
• Enjoying hands-on work and diving deep to drive impact, but still following a structured analytical approach.
• Solid Experience with commercial and technical integration with marketplaces (e.g., Tradebyte, Mirakl, ChannelAdvisor, Heyconnect) is a plus.
• Experience in operating multiple partners / sellers on eCommerce platforms or marketplaces.
• Data-driven mindset for both operations and process improvements.
