Fulltime (SEO) Content Writing Internship (Remote or Amsterdam)

Do you want to work a lot for a little? Do you want your job to save jeans and lives?! BOAS is the fast vintage fashion platform that saves jeans from being burnt and donates 90% of profits to save lives.

We’re looking for our newest lifesaver to join us in Amsterdam or remote. You will work at least 32 hours and for at least 6 months. You can start as soon as you are ready.

We have inclusive hiring, so we don’t require a CV and we don’t need to know your background. We do require you to write a motivation letter and please add your best writing examples (share anything you’re proud of!). We will have interviews with the best 5-10 applications and ask the best 3 to do a short assignment to show your skills.

Tasks

What will you do?

• You will write blogs, podcast scripts, press releases, emails, notifications and any writing that goes on our website
• You research the best keywords, hashtags
• You can and should write with AI but not let AI do all the writing
• You will help our CEO (who owns marketing) writing emails and his social media posts
• You analyse the results of your writing, and we will teach you how
• You research and understand social media trends to inform your writing
• We’re a young and fast growing sustainable startup, so your tasks might change and you will help out your colleagues when needed and we require you to be flexible

Requirements

• You understand vintage fashion or are comfortable with learning quickly
• You reply to slack messages and emails quickly, our startup moves fast
• You will start working and delivering work that will actually be used from the first hour of the first day. You learn by doing and the work will be your training
• You’re not an asshole, we have a strict no asshole hiring policy
• But most importantly: a normal office job is not enough for you and you want to actively do good in the world
• You speak English fluently or native
• Dutch is preferred but not necessary
• If we hire you we expect you to respect your contract and finish your internship
• We have a one month probation period, and we let people go who don’t do their job really well, we’re trying to save jeans and lives here!
• If you are remote, you are within 4 hour timezones from Amsterdam

• The salary is €200 per month for a full-time position. If you work less you get paid less (e.g if you work 20 hours a week you get €100 per month)
