The Role:

• You will work in MIDAS = Measurement Information and Data Analytics Solution, that is a VW project which cointains data from tests and simulations made to vehicles (before its commercialization).
• You will work on a day-to-day basis with our design and backend team to build a scalable and solid product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing microservices that are deployed in cloud environments (Openshift / AWS / Azure), providing highly available services that are resilient in the face of failures. We aim to be curious and care about the little details that make the app delightful.
• Building a responsive design with CSS frameworks as GroupUI…
• Translation from design mockups and wireframes, collaborative of tools like Figma.
• Working using best practices (testing, code reviews, DDD, CI/CD, clean code…) and Agile methodologies.
• Write automated tests.
• Lead and/or assist in executing any needed testing (units, functional, visual,etc).

Requirements:

• Have skills in Front-end development, building, running, and debugging web applications using modern JS frameworks (React).
• Knowledge of HTTP, HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
• Experience with Typescript.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Experience with testing tools like: Jest, Cypress, Testing Library
• Knoledge in Python, language and interpreter internals no just algorithms, logic and frameworks (frameworks Flask, SQLAlchemy)
• Experience in Relational databases and NoSQL databases (MySQL, OpenSearch, ElasticSearch).
• Experience in testing (Unit, Integration, E2E) using Unittest or Pytest.
• Manage code via git. (Bitbucket)
