Purpose of the role
As a Partner Development Manager, you are specialized on delivering high performance PAEK material solutions to serve >25bn connected devices in 2030 by enabling change makers to innovate at speed for a more energy conscious, healthier, smarter, and more connected world.
You will drive strategic growth by nurturing and expanding relationships with key specifiers and their supply chain, and you will use your expertise to leverage insights to identify new opportunities.
As the Segment Lead of one of our focus segments globally, you will be responsible for guiding and coordinating efforts within the segment. You will leverage your strong leadership skills, including the ability to make decisions to inspire and motivate others, set, and implement clear goals and provide direction.
Your Responsibilities
- Strategic Partner Account Management: Develop and execute strategic account plans for partners within the electronic Industry, focusing on driving sustainable revenue growth and maximizing mutual value.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers (buying centre) within OEM organisations, becoming a trusted advisor and partner.
- Needs Assessment: Understand the unique needs and challenges of each OEM partner, and tailor solutions to address their specific business objectives.
- Opportunity Identification: Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential expansion opportunities with new OEM partners.
- Collaboration: crucial for success, as you will need to work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support, to achieve segment objectives
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and (development) agreements with OEM partners, ensuring alignment with both parties’ goals and objectives.
- Giving direction: As a Segment Lead, you will be responsible for guiding and coordinating the efforts of growing a specific segment on a global scale.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments relevant to segments of strategic focus.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse account performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management on progress, opportunities, and challenges.
Your Qualifications And Strengths
- You are curious, self-driven, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- You have proven record of accomplishment of success in B2B business development and key account management, preferably in the technology or consumer goods industry.
- You use your persuasive communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
- You communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members, write clear and concise reports, emails in English and in best case you are able to communicate in German language.
- You are a strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, develop actionable plans, and drive results.
- You have excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Science, or a related technical field.
