AICPA

About the Role:

The focus of the unit is on supporting CGMA candidates with their studies and their learning journey to earn the prestigious CGMA designation. In essence, we measure ourselves on how many individuals we can help build their professional futures across the globe.

You support those who struggle with their studies, or simply don’t know where to start. This coaching role will encourage them to continue with their studies and provide study plans and resources specific to their needs. This will be performed largely based on inbound and outbound call and email activity.

This would also be a creative role and there would be a degree of freedom to develop methods to more effectively connect with our candidates and also to advise on what additional learning resources need to be created. We could envision this role coming up with new ideas such as offering ‘drop-in’ webinar sessions or performing online micro-content presentations.

It’s a really rewarding role as we would be able to measure the number of candidates you have personally helped across the globe to qualification, which for many, will be a transformative life achievement. Apply for this role if you genuinely wish to make a positive difference to everyone you connect with.

This is a remote role, reporting to the Director of the academic function.

You Will:

Guide and motivate CGMA candidates to help them work toward and achieve exam success. This would include i) ensuring our candidates are aware of the support resources available to them and ii) providing the right resource to meet their needs.

Find creative ways to reach out to as many candidates as possible (e.g. present and record micro-content).

Monitor the progress of the candidates you are supporting with regular reach outs (are they following the agreed action plan in the timescales set)

Record each interaction, highlighting information and trends such as i) the study obstacles they are facing ii) whether they sat an exam and did they succeed, iii) what solutions are working or are not working

Work with your team and other teams to identify ‘hot spot’ areas where we can support candidates and ensure i) the provision of tailored messaging for candidates depending on their learning need ii) your conversations include all the latest recommendations and iii) the contact data is accurate

Produce monthly reports on performance and results of relevant campaigns, identifying any gaps or opportunities to improve the resources and services provided to our candidates.

We are a team and our roles evolve and therefore you’ll take on other tasks as and when are necessary to aid progression or provide cover in periods of leave.

You Have:

  • Experience supporting others through an educational/learning programme.
  • Experience achieving result
  • 2 A-levels
