Currently, we are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join the Littelfuse R&D Electronics & Embedded Software Engineering team and work on Automotive Sensors. Join us in a remote role or work from our office in Kaunas and see your input creating importance in the automotive industry every day.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will have the chance to introduce and maintain the best coding practices, Agile (Scrum) tools, and processes, having the target with a team to reach the highest quality with the shortest time to market. To achieve that we use the code versioning system Gitlab along with its automation features (Gitlab-CI) for automated distributed builds and unit tests, performing code review practices, managing product backlog with Jira, and always searching for the newest tools that really help to get things done.

About The Job

  • Design and develop embedded software, test it and prepare reports, manage software change in automotive sensors area
  • Process new product requirements, build software specification
  • Ensure software creation and implementation according to valid quality standards, improve processes
  • Produce and administer software technical documentation
  • Apply best coding practices, tools, and processes, foster an Agile environment

About You

  • 2 years of relevant work experience in product creation and development in an Agile project environment
  • Skills in writing code in C language, working with 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, Atmel, Microchip, etc.)
  • Experience in reading Hardware Schematics, working with electronics laboratory equipment
  • Team player with good problem/root cause analysis skills
  • Experience in technical English (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 15504 (SPICE), TS/ISO 16949, and ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) requirements an advantage
  • Growth mindset with a “Can do” attitude and eagerness to learn new design patterns
